Delivery charges are based on $2.00 per loaded mile, with a minimum of $100 per room, plus $30 setup fee for extra large, or awkward pieces, or placement on a second floor. A $60 convenience fee will be added to all Friday or Sunday deliveries. A fuel charge of $20 for 51 to 150 miles and $30 for 151 to 250 miles will be added. Fuel and surcharges subject to change without notice. Tolls one way and hotel charges may apply on deliveries over 250 miles.
Your item will be blanket wrapped & packaged securely to ensure that it arrives undamaged.
Most items arrive pre-assembled. In certain cases a 1/2 inch wrench or socket is required to assemble items such as Amish table pedestals, feet, and/or legs. Items such as Amish hutches, and mirrors for Amish dressers may need to be attached with a Phillips screwdriver or cordless drill if you prefer.
Your furniture will be inspected before it leaves our builder's or finisher's shop. In rare instances damage may occur in transit. In the unlikely event the furniture is damaged during transit;
A. The Delivery Professional should attempt to repair the damaged goods on the spot.
B. If the repair is unacceptable to the customer, the Delivery Professional will bring back the damaged piece
to be replaced or repaired & then redelivered at a later date. All our carriers are 100% insured.
If you prefer; you can pick up your order at our 1255 Kidron Rd. Orrville, OH 44667 Address from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday or Sunday 2-5; otherwise by appointment only. We are closed Saturday. You must bring a vehicle large enough to carry home your order. Bring appropriate padding materials such as moving blankets, etc. to prevent damage on your trip home. Tie-downs such as moving straps or bungees are also recommended.
We will NOT Pay your specified or private shipper; You must pay them yourself directly.
Our expected "Delivery Wait Time" of 2-4 weeks can be prolonged; Your Patience Is Appreciated!
PURCHASE ORDER TERMS & CONDITIONS
Jake's Amish Furniture INC Provides these Terms & Conditions upon receiving deposit (down payment) the Buyer does agree that Buyer has read and agrees to the terms set forth herein as follow.
General Warranty: The goods furnished under this Purchase Order shall (a) be produced according to the exact dimensions and specifications provided by Buyer, (b) be fit for the purpose intended, (c) be of Good Amish Quality Material and Workmanship, (d) be manufactured in compliance with all Applicable Law, (e) and be free and clear of any and all security interests, liens or other encumbrances, and Seller has merchantable title thereto. Should Seller fail to deliver goods according to these warranties; Seller shall repair or make new, and remove the unfit product at Seller's expense.
To place an order; a down payment is required to start the production process. Twenty percent on all standard pieces. Fifty percent on all custom pieces.
Until you get your furniture, if there would be an increase of material costs, it will be passed on to you, the customer.
Upon completion of a Purchase Order; Jake's Amish Furniture shall notify the Buyer of the order's completion so as to accept final Payment, and schedule the Delivery or Pickup of the goods ordered.
Buyer shall make final payment and schedule to receive goods as soon as possible. Should Buyer fail to make said arrangements within two weeks of notice, Jake's Amish Furniture Inc will charge a fifty dollar storage fee; per item stored for Buyer; every thirty days thereafter, to be paid monthly by Buyer.
COD for the furniture, is not acceptable when delivery is being made by a third party common carrier of any kind.
Cancellation: If Buyer cancels any order in full or in part after furniture is in production, each item will be assessed a thirty percent restocking fee, Custom items will be subjected to a seventy percent restocking fee.
Jake's Amish Furniture Inc. reserves the right to cancel any order, in full or in part, for any reason, by returning the allocated deposit to Buyer, with written notice of such actions; freeing Seller from any and all obligations.
